A FORMER PROJECT OF USD 257 ALUMNI ENDOWMENT ASSOCIATION

Their mission was to raise money to refresh our books and bring the love and joy of reading to generations to come.

Project Bookshelf transformed our Iola Elementary School library. In the fall of 2002, USD 257 combined three separate elementary libraries into one. As we made that transition, our librarians evaluated the books on their relevancy, accuracy, and condition. Unfortunately, many of our books were in poor condition, because they had been loved so dearly by previous students.  As the fifth grade rejoined our elementary school, books were purchased for their interests and reading level.

THANK YOU TO ALL THE DONORS and USD 257 ALUMNI ENDOWMENT ASSOCIATION

FOR YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE IOLA ELEMENTARY SCHOOL LIBRARY!
