Current Position:

• I have taught in the Iola school district since 1996.  I taught first grade at LaHarpe Elementary for 5 years and third grade at Lincoln Elementary for 20 years.  For the past 2 years I have been a Title 1 teacher.  I work with students in reading and math. 

Family Information:

• My husband Derrick and I have 2 boys.  My oldest son Jack is a student at Kansas State University, studying to become a teacher.  My youngest son Eli is a senior at Iola High School and will attend Kansas State University after graduating.  We have a golden retriever named Rose and a cat named The Baby.  

Personal Information:

• When I am not teaching, I like to run on the trails and watch my kids play sports.
